As a mother of one in my early 30s, I navigate the complexities of life, cherishing every precious moment with my child. Recently, I’ve faced challenges with my reproductive health that have opened my eyes to the fragile nature of a women’s reproductive system and the possibility of losing the chance to have more children.

Three years ago, I was pregnant with a baby boy, who developed with anencephaly and wouldn’t survive —a confusing chapter in my life that left me grappling with a whirlwind of emotions and questions. I think of who he would have been, but I know that it simply wasn’t the right time, and I’ve found peace in that. My heart, full of love and hope, yearns for another child, and I’ve made the empowering choice to pursue motherhood again on my own terms.

Now, I am filled with the desire to expand my little family and nurture another life, and create new memories. With a deep yearning to embrace the joys of motherhood once more, I have turned to sperm donation as a hopeful avenue toward pregnancy. Yet, the financial burdens of this journey weigh heavily on my heart, and I am seeking support to help transform this dream into a reality.

My unwavering determination to bring new life into the world is driven by the profound love I have for my daughter, who inspires me every day with her laughter and spirit. From a young age, I envisioned a life filled with family and found myself praying for my future children. When asked in kindergarten what I wanted to be when I grew up, I confidently replied that my greatest desire was to be a mommy. With each passing moment, I hold onto the hope that my family will grow, allowing me to share the love that fills my heart.
